This water bowl was a cinch to put together and works wonderfully. I've had it for a few weeks now and it's still working on the initial charge I gave it when I received it, so the battery life is definitely something to behold. I have two dogs - a big husky mix and a smaller chihuahua mix - and I thought my chihuahua would enjoy this bowl a lot especially if they both go for water at the same time. Weirdly enough, the husky likes it more and will always try to drink from it if it's available first. The water is on a timer so it does automatically refill but not when it's empty, purely on a predetermined time limit. This product is probably better suited to cats, if I'm being honest, but I really enjoy having the second water source for my pups. It's also super quiet and I never notice when it refills unless I'm standing right near it when the timer cycles.

I wasn’t sure how my cats would take to this. I have been using different types of cat water fountains for years, and they are often difficult to clean and high maintenance. This cat fountain was easy to assemble and set up, and my cats were immediately fascinated by it. If I stand close enough to the water fountain I can hear it changing the water, but most of the time I never hear it. My cats do, and I can always tell when its changing the water, because my cats zoom over to it when it does. They love having access to the fresh water, and the little bowl is the perfect height for them to easily drink from it.I have it set to change the water every three hours, and I only have to dump the old water and add fresh water every other day. It is so much easier to change the water in this fountain also. The tank of old water lifts away easily, and its easy to dump it and rinse it in the sink. The fresh water take also easily pops off, but I usually just fill it in place with a pitcher of water. Its easy to clean, and I have to clean it significantly less often. I love that it is battery operated, and the battery lasts a long time. I actually keep my old cat fountain plugged in most of the time, and I leave the new one running on battery near it. My cats definitely prefer this water fountain over their old one.

This cat water fountain is really nice. I love how your cat or cat(s) if you have more than one will always have fresh clean water to drink from with this device. And the fact that there are no filters to clean and 100 different parts to clean is a total plus if you have a more complicated water fountain. However I’m giving it 4 stars although I wish I could give it 4.5 because out of my 3 cats, One of them likes to remove the cover of the waste water. Why? Idk. It won’t work unless the cover is on. There is a sensor in the waste water reservoir that knows when the cover is removed. I wish it snapped shut like the lid on the clean water reservoir. For now until my cat decides to leave the lid on the reservoir, I have to tape it shut otherwise the settings you use to set the device up won’t work. It has 6 hours, 4 hours, and 3 hours. You can also change the amount of water it dispenses. I’ve tried all different types of water fountains and gravity waterers but they all get dirty fast especially fast with 3 cats. Oh the bowl is detachable if you need to rinse it out if any food gets left behind when it dumps dirty water. I will never go back to a regular fountain or gravity dispenser. Another plus is that It’s rechargeable. 4.5 Stars.

Leaked and now it doesn't work! It will empty but not refresh. I've had this thing for 2 months tops. Cool concept but poorly made.

I'm still giving it three stars, because it was easy to set up and worked great at first; although the cats hated it in the beginning. But after two weeks, it stopped working. The water will still fill automatically, but it will no longer dump out. So I have to knock down a couple of stars for durability. The video I'm posting is of the day I set it up, and shows exactly what the device WON'T do anymore, either on the timer or when pressing the button. The mechanism clatters when you try, there's something on the inside that broke.The device is easy to set up, and the functions are nice. It's easy to keep clean. And once the cats got used to it, they didn't seem to mind it. But the lack of durability on this means it's not getting my recommendation.

This water bowl was easy to assemble and worked great. I've only had to charge it once in the four weeks we've been using it, and I have two small dogs and three cats. There are no filters to change! The cats have always been a bit picky about their water supply, acting as though a dog's mouth has contaminated any source they've used, so this was a great solution. They have their own fountain high up, but this ensures that the dogs always have clean water on the ground. I've even noticed that the cats use it too! It's also super quiet, and I barely notice it operating unless I'm right next to it when it activates.

This cat water dispenser is really cool! It’s super quick to assemble, and it works great. It makes me feel better to know my kitties are drinking clean and filtered water. I love that it pours out “old water” and dispenses a round of new water after! This is very helpful, as I have a few cats. Highly recommend!
