I think the cost is fair for this product but I feel the Xacto is better, although more expensive. the Xacto blade is .024" thick, the Hasko blade is .014" thick. The point of this thinner blade leads to more frequent breakage. The Xacto handle will not hold this blade tight unless a shim is inserted with the blade. I will probably spend the extra money for Xacto blades.

The 4 stars is just because the blade bends. A lot. It's wicked sharp (sorry fingers!) but yeah, they bend, and have messed up precision projects because of this. Still great, would buy again, just a word of caution.
