I used these to attach mesh to my PVC garden hoop house and it is a snug and perfect fit. Excellent product and I plan on purchasing more for my second DIY low tunnel this winter. A+

These work great, they hold tightly. Difficult to pull off, which is a good thing because you know once you put them on they are not moving

These held a shade cloth onto PVC hoops to shade my vegetables all summer long with no issues. I’m going to take them and the cloth inside for the winter to help them last. They look like they’ll go a few years before the UV gets to them. I’ll buy more of the same when that happens.

I purchased a 10 pack of these clamps, for 1/2" PVC, for a project I was building and when I tried to use these clamps, they were so loose that a 15 MPH wind blew them off of my project. If one wants to use these clamps when covering, trying to apply 6MM plastic sheeting, each one needs to be squeezed in a vice and a hot gun used to make them tight enough to snap firmly onto the 1/2' PVC tubing/pipe. These clamps would fit a 5/8" pipe much better, if such pipe existed.

My raised garden boxes are 4' across. For winter protection I have driven a 1" diameter bit of pipe into the soil and loop a 10' - 1/2" pipe from side to side. Over that I, personally, use clear plastic sheeting. Frost cloth works well. The clips fasten the covering to the 1/2" pipe as needed. The clips come in two flavors - tight and extra tight. Get the tight ones. The extra tight are very hard to get off without a tool (small screw driver?) to pry them off. If you are using them for holding something of a more permanent nature, like perhaps a covering for a green house, the extra tight would be fine since you never plan to pull them off.

I spent around $60 in miscellaneous other items to solve my PVC green/shadehouse problem, none of which helped much. In fact, those other items only made the construction more sloppy. Still trying to improve my structure, I searched for more solutions on Amazon. Lo and behold, this showed up as a "customers also viewed..." In three other purchases, these clamps were never suggested. I obviously didn't know they existed until it was too late. Money was spent and lost. (I can't return any of the items because they now have wear.)Over all, the quality is good for what it does and the price is pretty cheap. I know other reviews say that they break easily or are too tight. They are pretty snug and although they don't come off too easily, it's not that difficult either. I haven't had one break on me yet (knock on wood) and I even had a triple layer of netting between the clamp and the PVC pipe. It was a tight fit but it didn't break. I was able to remove them, as well. I've clamped and removed them at least three times and none have snapped yet. While I can't say anything about other customer experiences, my own is positive. I think they are strong enough and they are perfectly functional. Price is good, too. I only regret that I didn't see these sooner.I haven't used them long enough to see how they perform after months of being sun-beaten, so I will update this review after they've been put through the rigors.
