This is a good muffler and pipe, it actually sounds good and quiet and it's nice to unscrew the muffler if I'm really trying to irritate the neighbors. However the flange where you bolt the entire unit to the motor is terribly tack welded. This WILL break over time, probably very quickly. This however is absolutely no problem to someone who owns and operates a welder. Be advised if you purchase this and would like to actually use it for a long period of time, you will need to have and/or know a welder.

The flange needs better welding, which I did. Then you must tack the can to the pipe. The can itself is made from pretty thin metal so it cracked on the first run. I welded it and it seems to hold. The exhaust on these minibikes is the main issue I've had so far. The muffler could be a bit thicker. The vibration on these motors just kills exhaust components. So at least it's short and light. Rigging some kind of attachment to the frame seems to help with these issues a bit.

I put this on a go kart and with less than 30 minutes total of drive time the welding broke and it fell right off.

Bought and installed this on my son’s BT200x. Install was fairly easy, but had to modify the gasket to get it to fit, but that was only issue. He rode it about an hour before the crappy tack welds (only 2 tack welds with no penetration on flange) failed and exhaust fell off while riding. Appreciate the price and everything in the kit, just wish the quality was better. Good thing I have access to a welder, but if you buy this you might reinforce it before you install.

Very disappointed should have gone by the other bad reviews it sounded great on my mini bike but first ride in woods and it cracked off at threads . It now resides in the garbage company reached out to me for full refund for that reason I would purchase other products good customer service!

This might be the first review I’ve even written on a product I have purchased. I don’t usually do this, but the quality of this exhaust pipe was honestly so terrible that I thought a review was necessary to inform others. It honestly infuriates me that something like this is even able to be sold. Let me give you a timeline of events. I get the exhaust, I screw in the muffler and bolt it on. Not even 5 minutes of riding (hard riding) my 212cc Coleman minibike, the threads are completely broken off the muffler. No issue. I get back to the garage and weld the muffler back on. Take it for another 5 minute ride, and the muffler itself has split in two seperate sheets of metal, and it’s making a crazy rattling sound. No worries again I’ll just fix the garbage Chinese welds and carry on. Third time riding the bike and the flange to bolt the exhaust on gets a massive crack and is leaking exhaust. NO WORRIES YET AGAIN. I take it back and guess what??? I welded that thing. FOURTH TIME RIDING, and what happens?? The pipe just completely separates from the flange. At this point I’m already frustrated at something else so in the garbage it goes. Anyway that’s my little rant over. Don’t buy this trash…
