I had high hopes for this kurta, but it fell well short of expectations. The material is incredibly thin, almost see-through, and feels more like a flimsy summer shirt than a proper kurta. The stitching is sloppy throughout, with loose threads and seams that look like they might unravel at any moment. It honestly feels like it could rip just from putting it on.The cut is way too slim, especially in the shoulders and chest. Getting it over your head is a real struggle unless you have a very small frame, and there’s absolutely no give in the fabric. It's uncomfortable from the start and doesn’t feel wearable for more than a few minutes without worrying it’ll tear.It looks decent at first glance, but the overall build quality is just not there. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you're planning to wear it as a one-time costume piece. Disappointing.

Love how much the style, color and fit of this comes together. It came true to size and drapes the body just right, not too tight or too loose. The sleeves sit a little high on your wrists by design and it suits the look. The embroidered textures are also very well done and give it a rich appearance. It's fairly light so it's good in warmer temperatures. Adds an element of elegance to you look for sunny days.

From the moment I unfolded this Kurta, I felt like I was holding a piece of tradition wrapped in elegance. It’s more than just a garment—it's a quiet celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and comfort. What touched me the most is the sincerity of the design—it feels personal, like something that’s been made with care, not just produced. The sky blue hue is calming, almost meditative, and adds a refreshing note of serenity to the overall look. I wore it to a family gathering and received compliment after compliment—not just for how it looked, but for how it made me feel. This kurta isn’t just clothing—it’s confidence, grace, and nostalgia all stitched into one. Whether you're looking to make an impression or simply want to reconnect with your roots, this piece is a beautiful choice.

This Sojanya (Since 1958 Motifs Embroidered Thread Work Pure Cotton Straight Only Kurta is only the top. No pants are included. That is not quite clear from the pictures but the title does say Only Kurta. In the US you would probably say Kurta Only. The fabric is pretty attractive, and a nice color. It is lightweight fabric with holes in the pattern, probably best in a hot climate. It is somewhat see through. The fabric does feel a little rough. The beads below the collar are a nice touch. The fit is pretty tight. This is ordered large and is tight on someone that wears an American Medium. The edges are sewn and a serger was used but they are still rough. Both the serger and a straight stitch was used and the fabric does not give, so it is still easy to rip a seam, especially as the fit is tight. It is repairable though if you can sew and have the right machines and enough spools of yellow thread. There are some loose threads at the ends of the seams. Compared to some Kurtas that are 25 years old, the seams are about the same but on this one. Metal catches are used instead of buttons that were on the older ones that I prefer. There are two pockets, a nice touch.

This is the first time that I have worn a Kurta and, overall, I am highly impressed by the beautiful design and workmanship. Once I put it on, however, the all-cotton Kurta began to feel very rough and itchy on my skin. Maybe this is normal for Kurta “beginners.” :-) At any rate, it was a little uncomfortable at the beginning. But after a few hours the discomfort (mostly) went away. The Kurta is a whole new world of clothing for me. I had never worn any “dress like” single pieces of clothing. Moreover, I also had some trouble at first with mobility as, for example, crossing the legs and/or reaching out for something. After some days, the Kurta does feel much more comfortable as I continue to “learn” to wear it. It is a beautiful and elegant piece of clothing. But you might want to consider the initial “getting used to” period, especially if you have never worn a Kurta before. I do wish that it was a bit softer and smoother on the skin. Another thing I would have liked are pockets. It feels strange to have such a long piece of clothing without pockets. I keep wanting to put things in the non-existan pockets. Lol Putting it on may also take a little practice. I suggest that you roll it up, insert the head, then the arms. Then it can be rolled down to the torso. Again, this is a beautiful and elegant full-body garment. It may take some getting used to, but I say it is definitely worth it. Just wish it was softer and had pockets.

decent for the price. suited more for a casual environment (no embroidery or anything on it). definitely not for a formal occasion. somewhat see through (you can get a similar colored tshirt to wear under it and should be fine).fit will be a subjective thing, so what fits me may not fit someone else.material quality will be debatable but worst case scenario would make a great halloween costume haha
