Solar panel cannot recharge as fast as the battery discharges with the radio on at 50% volume. It does work well, but if in continuous use for more than 3 hours, it will need to plugged into electric or spend a day in the sun. Haven't tested out the hand crank yet, but I would not be inclined to crank unless there was no other option.

I thought this would be flimsy but it’s actually quite a good weight and feels like it’s great quality. It works great. I accidentally pressed the SOS button and it was so loud I think I woke up the dead. I panicked and couldn’t turn it off but I eventually did and loved this product.

I assumed that it would be larger. Tiny. As big as my hand. It's fine though and easy to carry.

I admit, I had huge doubts especially because of Rita very plastic-y appearance, but we had 2 power outages and this held its pre charge and functioned as stated. We even took it dry camping, and although it took a ton of cranking, it did manage to provide a charge enough to illuminate for cooking.A very pleasant surprise and integral part of my emergency go bag.

Excellent quality, but I need a radio with earphones. I listen to the radio in bed.

So after a few months of testing, definitely can say this is a great little radio. It's been my companion from yardsales to hikes. The reception is great for its size, it picks up signals that even my bigger radio can't get. Sound is loud and clear. Absolutely zero issues connecting to my Bluetooth speakers and headphones, no issues with the card reader, no issues with connecting to an mp3 player either.I appreciate how many ways you can charge it, the solar gives you a good charge of up to 8 -9 hours, hand crank gives you about 6-7 hours, USB can be left on all day and overnight before getting a bit weak but Id say it can easily be left powered on for 48 hours if needed. Charges up my phone and other devices fine! The radio itself can be changed by USB in my car, that's great if your vehicle has that function. The flashlight isn't the best, it's a good light for inside a tent, but not on a trail, comes in handy if you're fixing a flat in the dark, speaking from experience. Hah! The emergency signal is loud!! Which is perfect if it's intended use just don't make my mistake of setting it off in a public parking lot. Overall, I'm really happy with this radio, it's become a staple of my outdoors trips.

This exactly what I was looking for in a am/ fm ,weatherband radio.Good buy battery's as it simply recharges with multiple ways to do so.Stay up to date when power goes out this small radio with impressive sound quality. Is very compact and easy to use, lights are very bright! When weather is a concerned this is the one to grab and go. Came back and ordered one for elderly aunt as it will be easy for her to use, no complications.I have to admit I could not find the charging ports until I broke down and read instructions. Enjoy
