Once assembled these lights are cute. They produce a soft, warm glow. They can be staked to the ground r secured to a flat surface or just placed on a table. My issue was with assembly. The balls on the base do not fit easily into the lamp bottom. One did not go in as far as the other. One of the lights is crooked and taller than the other. Not happy about that. They look like cheap plastic during the day but are pretty at night.

This comes with the two lights, with a mounting base, ground stake, and mounting screws for each. They can be placed on the ground, mounted from a wall or on a post or fence. It can be used unmounted on a table, but I'd recommend posting it face up or no more than about 45° angle or it will tip over.The light, itself, is two parts: The light and solar panel, and the base it sits in. The light shines downward into the base and shines through its white opaque surface. It's a diffused white light. There's a clear plastic piece where the light it that has to be removed so it'll work. It's there to keep the battery from discharging during shipping.If you've used a phone holder mount in your car then you'll recognize the ball joint (to allow moving it to the angle you want) and the screw (to hold it in place). Unscrew the plastic screw and put it on the neck with the ball joint on the base. Push the ball joint into the socket until it clicks. Then use the screw to tighten it to the angle you want. It can be unscrewed and retightened as often as you want.If you want to mount it in the ground, slide the tent stake onto the bottom of the mount. I would recommend placing the stake and mount into the ground and THEN putting the light onto it so that you're not applying pressure to the neck of the light.There are mounting screws included to screw the base into a fence, wall, or fence post. I would recommend screwing the base in place and then attaching the light to it.It gives off a cool diffused (not direct) white light, which is pointed downwards, away from the solar panel on top. It's not super bright, but is a good accent light.The solar panel means you never have to charge it or change batteries.

I was provided with a two-pack of this item for a Vine review in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion.These are pretty nice solar lamps. To turn the lamp on, you pull a plastic tab out of a slot; both of my lamps came on instantly, so they were shipped with at least a partial battery charge. Assembly was pretty easy— you unscrew a ring from around the ball at the top of the base, push the ball into a ball socket on the lamp, and then screw the ring tight again so that it firmly holds the two pieces together. The lamp can stand on the base, if you want to use it on your table, or there are a couple of installation options— you can either pop a little plastic spike into the base so that it can be pushed into the ground to illuminate a path or walkway, or you can screw the base into a solid object. The lamp swivels on the ball joint which connects it to the base, so it can be oriented to attach to vertical or horizontal surfaces.I have two minor criticisms, but neither is enough to dock stars from my review. The first is that the plastic in this solar lamp feels pretty flimsy and breakable, but at its current price point (2 solar lamps for I think $22 as of February 2025), I don’t think that they’re overpriced. Hopefully they’ll prove to be more durable than they feel. The other thing is that I bought these to mount on fence-posts on either side of my house, especially over a gate, and I’m not sure that the light produced is quite as bright as I’d intended for that use. However, this isn’t entirely a bad thing, as the light that these items put off probably won’t disturb my neighbors— something that I should have considered, but didn’t. And in fairness, the item’s description repeatedly describes its ‘soft glow,’ suitable for an outdoor table, so I think it works pretty much as advertised. Just be aware that this isn’t the best product if you’re looking for something to cast bright illumination over a large area.I wound up giving these items five stars and think it merits this rating for use as a garden light or dinner table light. As a yard light I’d probably still give it four stars, provided that you understand that you aren’t getting the brightest illumination possible. All in all, though, I recommend this product.

These lights give off A LOT of light! Very sturdy and have thus far withstood the elements. I love their unique shape; they almost remind me of flowers. I appreciate how I can redirect the light to shine in any direction. I currently have them each in a flower pot so at night they look like beautiful spotlights. They’d be great from a security perspective with enough of these around your yard,. I own quite a lot of solar lights and these are some of my favorites. They truly are spectacular!

This set of solar decorative lights is a lovely addition to any outdoor space. They produce a nice, warm glow that creates a cozy atmosphere. The lights can also be tilted and adjusted, which is a great feature for customizing their placement and angle.Keep in mind that these lights aren’t super bright—they’re meant more for decoration than actual illumination. If you’re looking for something to light up a large area, these might not be the best choice. But if you want to add a touch of ambiance to your yard or garden, they’re perfect.Overall, they look great and work exactly as intended.
