Not at all flexible. it could not be installed properly as it was always coming out of the rail almost making a hole in our brand new awning. Not recommanded. We finally took the lights out of their rail and installed them directly under the awning with strong velcro. Did a super Nice job.

**Update**Three months after purchase it stopped working!!! Absolute TRASH!!The Lippert awning light that came off of mine was different than this, but this was the closest awning light that Lippert makes to it. The new mounting strip is no where near the build as the one that came off of mine. It is bright, but fitment was terrible and how it was coiled almost made it impossible to install.

Plastics holder it came on was destroyed which was OK. I kept the old one on the awning and replaced the light. Worked perfectly. Wish they sold just the light strip. Price is bananas at $100 but I kept everything OEM.

When I received this, it appears it had been stored for some time. I could not put it on due to it being so coiled up, as it would pop off. I laid it in the sun to try to help straighten it, and the back had bowed so bad that it would not mount, and the plastic housing the strip is in broke in half.

My Solitude came with lights on the awning tube that unfortunately went out after a few years and I just removed the LED strip from the tube. After 5 years, the awning needed to be replaced. I had a Solera awning installed and was told that it was setup for lights to be easily added to it. These are those lights! Extremely easy install. There is a rod that is on the awning fabric, near the RV wall. Just ran this light kit onto that rod, then wired it to the existing wires from my factory lights. These seem much brighter than the lights that came on my awning tube. If you have a Solera awning with the light kit rod pre-installed, I highly recommend these lights!
