We use this on the door going from the garage into the house. Sometimes the door locks and now if someone gets locked, out we can hear them knocking. Very handy!!

LARGE, QUALITY piece of jewelry for your front door. Unfortunately, I had to return this piece as my home has a standard-sized front door and this brass door knocker is for the larger, more substantial front door of my dream home, not my average, builders grade neighborhood home front door. haha

Cheaply made. Had to cut off excess brass from casting on the back. The anchor screw/stud in the back of the ring was sloppy and stripped out before tightened. Could not use, looking for another one. It did look great but poor design

Good price, GREAT QUALITY BUT A LIITLE LACKING on functionality.What I am saying is, I wish they'd have welded the knocker to the plate. Since they didn't, and they didn't provide a back plate, you will probably need to ferret out your own hardware to make this work as intended. Since this is clearly intended to be both functional and decorative I feel they should have a better solution for bolting the actual knocker onto your door.

these are very nice but in my mind overpriced considering they are made in India. If they were made in the USA for this price i would give them 5 stars.
