Very good, solid.

Holds my Galaxy S21 in a case reasonably securely on my spotting scope, allowing for decent photos with slight "halo" due to the distance of the phone lens from the eyepiece of the scope. I would say this is acceptable given the price and versatility of the adapter. The adapter is a little dodgy on binoculars as it rotates the eyepiece and is more difficult to align than on a stationary spotting scope. Still acceptable given the price. I also like the light weight, sturdy design, and adaptability to different phones, plus the fact that most phone cases will be compatible. One star off because the distance between the phone and eyepiece could be a smaller to reduce/eliminate the halo effect, but this is a minor quibble given the overall value of this adapter.

This is a great adapter in concept but in practice it has a major flaw. The pros of this are that it is quite large and will fit some of the largest eye pieces out there. It is also quite easy to align the hole in the adapter with the lens of your smartphone. I found that adjusting this part was quite easy. And was pretty enthusiastic that this would be a good solution for my astronomy binoculars. However, once I attached the adapter to my binoculars and tightened it down, it kept popping off. I wondered if perhaps I was doing something wrong and tried various different methods, but each time as soon as I tightened it down it would just spring right off of the binocular eyepiece, or would stay on crookedly and loosely until eventually falling off. While the phone holder part itself is very secure, the part that connects the adapter to the actual eyepiece of a binocular is just not secure enough to hold a smartphone. It's a shame, the design of this product makes it seem like it would be perfect, but it really does not work well on certain types of eye pieces it would seem. I ended up having to return it for a refund.I would not recommend this if you are trying to attach it to anything that has rubber on the eyepiece. Folding down eyepiece cups does not resolve the issue. The material that is used for the adapter clamp slips right off of any rubber surface.

I bought Novagard adapter for $160 and hated the fit. Even with adjustment rings, phone fit was not ideal. In fact you had to zoom in 2x or 3x to actually get a decent view. With this, camera lens is close to eye piece. No ring adapters needed. Aligned it as per instructions and voila. Perfect fit. Now with 2x or 3x zoom, i get full screen clear view. This adapter is well made and super easy to put on. Well done.

One of the three prongs holding the phone mount to the spotting scope broke on the first time tightening. Held on by small plastic lips. I tried going around paying $100+ for a quality mount. Just bite the bullet and get a name brand product…

This adaptor does work, you will have to play with it for a bit to adjust it to the size of your phone. Mounting it on your spotting is extremely easy but you will not get a crystal clear image. You will have to zoom in on your camera in order to get the full field of view. For the range it will do but if you plan to use it for hunting I would spend the extra money on one specific for you scope.

great product, easy to fit to spotting scope eyepiece due to round disc with ratchet adjustment. Heavy duty and fits big Samsung 9 phone with safety case. Much better than more spindly hard to adjust cell phone holders.

Works as expected. Easy to set up on my 60X spotting scope. I gave it 4 stars (not 5) because I have only given it a quick test and do not know if it will hold up to extended use since it is made of mostly plastic. That being said, I am please with the purchase and would recommend. I did a quick test using my 60X spotting scope and iPhone 8 from my desk. I was spotting thru a screened window at a transmission tower apprx 1/4-1/3 mile away. The image on the iPhone was jumpy - but I attribute that to the inexpensive tripod I have. The zoomed in image was with 60X spotting scope and 5x digital zoom iPhone magnification. See pics.
