This microcassette player is having the same issue as the one I just replaced. I found and downloaded the manual to troubleshoot the issue, and it doesn't cover the problem either. What a waste of money.

The only negative I would say is the foot pedal is kind of small is taking some getting used to, but with time I hope to be more comfortable with it. Really like that the erase feature works---I was years without that on my old machine.

This is the third Sony transcriber that I've owned. I prefer Sony over any other model I've ever tried, and it gets plenty of use in my small medical transcription business. I never want to be without a Sony transcriber for my work.

Took a while to get the right machine but his one works just fine. I am a medical transcriptionist and my old machine quit working in the middle of dictation. Since this is becoming a lost art, was very happy to find that I was able to find another machine just like the one that quit on me.

These have always worked for us. We're a law firm and there is a lot of dictation. This Sony is reliable and exactly what we need.
