The 50 inch extender arm provides 10 inches more than the standard 40 inch arm and is useful for hanging background material. The arm is made of quality steel and stores easily.

I'll see if this holds up! As long as it doesn't break, or bend more than normal, then I'm excited for a lighter/longer pole. I'll either get more, or i'll update this review after a while- We'll see how it holds up!

Bought this to boom a light above my pastor for a shoot and I was surprised how sturdy it was with a light and sand back on both ends.

Works well, quality seems very good. I ground a flat on one end if the 5/8 spigot so when mounting a light or grip head they won't spin or drift down.
