Really nice fishing rod, would give five stars but my rod came with a tiny crack on the base. Came with plenty of instructions for rod and reel. Casts really nice for bass fishing.Would definitely get another one for friends.(Wish it came pre spooled)

The reel is the best, love it. I loved the first one so much I ordered a second one. My issue has been the rod. I only fish for pan size fishing. Tips on both my rods has broken off .

I’m a beginner and this rod was pretty easy to figure out. I was able to get a pretty nice cast as a beginner. It took me a minute to find the reverse lock (great feature - can’t imagine figuring out a pole without it). 6 foot was a good beginner pole length for me. Any longer and I think I would have been frustrated.

for my first 50$ it’s pretty and i really like the way it feels when casting and reeling but sadly for me the tip of the rod broke 💔.(2 piece rod)

This rod and reel combo is crafted with excellence. It is lightweight and can be taken anywhere. It's great for fresh or salt water. I used this amazing rod set in brackish water and caught plenty of catfish and oscars.
