I have been wearing this coat for half of a New England winter and have been pretty pleased with it. The fit it is comfortable, not too heavy or bulky ( I can actually wear it while driving), the sleeves are very long and it could be a little wider in the hips, but neither of those things are such a problem that I would return the coat. On days that are above 30° the coat is warm enough but on days when the temp is under 30° for me, another layer is definitely needed, but the coat is roomy enough that I'm able to wear a hoodie under it and still be comfortable. It is definitely Not Waterproof, It's fine for a drizzle or very light rain but on the one day that I wore the coat and it started to rain hard, in a matter of 10-15 minutes I was so soaked, that not only the coat, but also the sweatshirt, tank top and bra I was wearing all had to be tossed in the dryer. All in all I would recommend the coat. I would just say that on extremely cold days wear an extra layer under it and if you're going to be out in a hard rain have an umbrella or wear a different coat.

This jacket is top quality and very much worth more than price paid. Perfect jacket to get me thru chilly Spring mornings, chilly breezy Summer nights and cold Fall days. Love the fabric and all the pockets. Size chart was pretty accurate. I purchased the green color and it actually is a nice shade of army green. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and as I lose more weight, I plan to purchase the next size smaller.

I looked at the measurements and ordered a 3x. It fit perfectly everywhere but my hip area. I had to lift rhe ends up to zip, and could pull it down over my hips after. So I probably need another inch, inch and a half in the hips. It fits nice everywhere else. I do worry if I order the 4x it will be too big elsewhere which is unfortunate because it is a nice jacket.The name Soularge (So large) is off-putting a bit too, not going to lie.

I’m 5’4” tall and about 185 lbs and I ordered the 2X in the navy. I read where other reviewers said that the navy blue is closer to a black and while that is true I still like the color. I’ve enclosed a photo so you could see the size and the shape but ignore the colour because it doesn’t show true at all in the photo. This jacket is very well-made but I don’t understand why it’s skirts out at the bottom making it look like an odd shape. It just fits around my stomach and the arms are too long for me. The sleeve measures 25 inches from the shoulder seem to the bottom of the cuff. The very bottom of the jacket measures 29 1/2 inches across. Measuring from one side to the other at the top of the pockets is 26 inches.I’ve tried the “MixMatchy Women's Lightweight Front Zipper Solid Utility Anorak Hoodie Vest/Jacket” in a 3X which was way too big for me but I liked the weight of it because it was much lighter. This Soularge Women's jacket is a heavier jacket and I think it will be very turning it.

I love this jacket, it is so much more than I was expecting. It's thick and warm but still lightweight, and it fits great. I'm 5'8 and 255 lbs, and I have a large chest which makes tops and jackets fit tight sometimes, but that's not the case with this jacket. I love that it has an adjustable cinch on the inside of the waist, so you can have it hang loose for comfort, or tighten it for an accentuated silhouette. So happy with this purchase!

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review, and the only reason I am is because of how happy I am with this jacket. The fabric is strong and super soft. I love that you can move around without it limiting your mobility. My favorite thing about it though, is how well it’s made! There isn’t one loose string or stitch and is sewn so neatly. When it comes to buying jackets or purses, how well the lining is made is what sells me on it or not. The lining of this jacket is perfect! I really hope that they end up making one in beige.

Let me start by stating that this jacket is so WARM and comfortable! I have 2 of these already and will not give these up! You're able to adjust the waist so no air escapes or enter. Pocket size feel infinite. I'm always losing something in my pocket because of how big and spacious it is! The hood is even warm. It's so warm that I often have to take it off of how warm it gets. Definitely worth the money!

I love this jacket! My grandmother purchased it for me for Christmas and it's wonderful! I'm a large AFAB person... 350lbs, 6' 2" tall, etc. For me, it's nearly a perfect fit. It's a little extra big around the body, but the shoulders are a little narrow. If I hike it up a little, it's no problem in the shoulders, just the shoulder area is a bit tight. I may need to get that tailored later, but that's okay.It seems well-made and is definitely comfortable! It's been super nice in the rain so far. The bonus inner pocket is a bonus- I always wear this jacket to go check the mail when it rains (and it rains a lot 'cause I'm in WA) because I can tuck the mail into the pocket to avoid it getting wet!It's nice and warm without being overly warm, the sleeves are the perfect length for someone my height and the zipper is nice and durable.

I was really worried about the sizing but I ordered a 3x and it fit great. It is heavy and just warm enough, not bulky at all. The material is super soft, and the green is a nice color (a little bit darker than the pictures). No cheap/ugly gold hardware that a lot of coats I looked at had. The only downside I've found is that it is hand wash only, which is a bummer, but not a deal breaker.
