I tested about 10 different stirbars (I made a YouTube video), and this is the only one that worked for my larger pot that is thick aluminum.

I've literally tried 90 percent of the spinbars offered through Amazon. This one is the only one that has been able to produce a full vortex in my 20 Liter boiling flask. It is also the only bar I've had that could consistently stay centered at 1900 - 2100 rpm under vacuum. The price is a pain, but you will not regret getting it. Just make sure it fits your joint size, mine is 45/50.

This product is amazing, the only spinbar that can actually stir viscous solutions. I use it to stir my saturated PEG solution, and it functions perfectly! Regular spinbars have never been able to work in my PEG solution!

The liquid we are using is a bit to viscous to get a full emulsification, but once we adjusted the batch size this magnet has been the BEST BY FAR!!! I would highly recommend this magnet!
