Very easy to install and it works great! We weren't sure if it was heating element or electrical and chose to go the with the heating element first. We chose the right direction and it was the heating element. Works great!

My spa GFI started tripping and, after some troubleshooting, it came down to the heating element. I am running a saltwater tub and had some high-chlorine periods where I didn't have the generator settings quite right. I'm guessing this was a contributing factor to corrosion on the heating element, apparently to the point that it was leaking current to ground. I needed to replace it, ideally with something more chemically resistant, so this titanium element looked perfect. When the part arrived I noticed that the sheath appears to be titanium, but the mounting bracket that it's crimped into is the same stainless steel that's on the OEM part. It's unclear to what extent this will be a weak point for corrosion, but needless to say I’ll be minding my chlorine levels better. In terms of fit, there were no issues, this was an exact replacement.

OEM fit and function. Titanium coating increases the service life of the heater element reducing the replacement intervals. Electric resistance heater elements while simple, are in a tough environment. Be sure to keep your water chemistry (pH) correct to maximize element life.

Got the thermostat element- read instructions that came with it. Googled how to just to see. Old off- new one on in about 15 minutes or less. Took longer to put the access panels back into place.

The element came with new hardware and o-rings .the install was very easy and required no modifications.works great now. I would like to have had a small packet or o-ring lube included but would buy another one when needed.
