Worked great, old spline was not tightening the screen in my old speedball frame, new spline tightened it right up. This was enough to do an 8 by 10 and a 12 by 16 frame with a little left over.

Funny enough, this speedball brand cord does not fit inside a speedball brand frame... I would highly recommend against buying this product

wish I didnt have to make a star rating as this is a comment for my own case. I have a grooved frame that isnt speedball brand, the size of this seems right but pushing it into the groove puckers the mesh and even though my frame is grooved I went back to stretching the fabric with staples because it's a lot more even and tight. I want to remove the mesh so used as few staples as possible, spanning the groove so they will be easy to pry up. Like another reviewer I thought screen door spline would be just as good, and had problems. So I got the actual cord for silkscreen- this. this product is like a coated styrofoam cord, not the same as spline but I guess I don't like the cord method period.

I was let to believe this was a special cord.After I received it I see it similar to the cord I already have and which I use on window screen.The Item above is cheaper and the length is more and do the same job
