I used this on my truck for the disc brakes and this worked perfectly to allow me to press the caliper back without having to bleed the brakes. Highly recommend this over the screw type.

This brake pad spreader and caliper compressor is pretty solidly built. The handle and other parts are well machined and solid in feel and weight. It easily ratchets the spreader which makes it far easier to remove pads from the caliper than using a screwdriver or some other hand tool which risks damaging the pads. The right tool for the right job!

I’m always trying to add tools that’ll make my life easier. Build quality seems fairly good. This’ll make my brake jobs a lot easier over what I’m usually using which is normally a clamp which sometimes slips depending on the car I’ve used it on which has been a few. Very easy to use and would recommend!

I've been using the Speedy Brake Pad Spreader for a couple of days now, and it has made my brake pad replacement tasks much easier. The tool is sturdy and fits well with most disc brake calipers, providing a smooth compression process.While it performs well overall, I did encounter a slight learning curve when first using it, but once I got the hang of it, it worked like a charm. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I wish it came with clearer instructions for beginners.
