SpeTool bits are my go to bits for CNC. Having purchased several (dozens) different sizes and types, I am never disappointed in the sharpness, durability and overall quality. They are great value.

good bit, clean cutting. only issue is that as it's a down cutting bit, it generates a lot of friction and heat buildup. have to be really careful on the feeds and speeds side of things to make sure you limit the heat.

SpeTool bits are my go to for cnc router bits! I always keep an extra on hand because at 1/16th they break fairly easy. It's usually my fault for running the machine too fast or hitting a knot. They work great for pine, just stay away from any knots!

This is not a tool for hogging out great amounts of wood. Be gentle with it & it should last a long time.So far, I've inlayed rosettes in two guitar tops. Super smooth cuts, even when meeting end grain. No tearing at all. Flawless inlay.

Cuts great used to cut a lot of stuff. But also breaks a lot thin and super long. Ordered some with shorted cutting length hopefully will last longer. Broke 3 of these and theyre not cheap.

Worked very well cutting 1/4” MDF.It only broke after I mistakenly set the feed rate too high. I would prefer if the cutting length was shorter but definitely a good price for the service it gave me.

Nice down cut bit but I don't really need such a long cutting length. Unfortunately all the others with a shorter CEL are much more more $$$.I've never been disappointed with spetools...always top notch.

I was hesitant because 1/16” endmills can be brittle. I used it to carve small letters in 1/4” MDF. Online forums said you can keep fast speeds and feeds for MDF and just go light on depth of cut and overlap. So I reduced my default DoC and overlap and it worked great! Very pleased thus far.

I like to cut signs (and intricate pieces of signs) with my Shaper Origin, and this bit can get into sharp corners much more effectively than other bits (like the 1/8th or 1/4 inch).I’ve started working with 2.7mm plywood, and this bit can easily cut it in one pass, and as it’s a down cut bit, it seems to minimize the sanding needed on the top edge (which is a big deal for me).The bit is a little pricey, but this far I’d say “Worth every penny!”
