Didn’t buy mine here but thought I’d add my $.02 anyway. This is one of those tools you wish you purchased sooner. It fits every instrument I own, (except the bass guitars, I have a bigger one for them), and makes changing strings trivial. Fits onto any electric screwdriver or drill. The little notch to take out the acoustic pegs is an added bonus.

Works really well for stringing guitars with new strings so you don't have to turn it by hand a whole bunch. We used this in an automatic guitar tuner for school, it worked excellently for that purpose. Fit the Fender knobs well.

This string winder makes changing strings on my Taylor easy, quick, and very uniform. It's chuck fits any cordless screwdriver and is hexagonal to fit either round or many screwdriver open sockets. Also has a side peg lifter. Of course it's a piece of plastic, but has a lifetime warranty and does the job.Only problem with R&H Music here is the serious overcharging of shipping costs. My personal online business ships 14-20 packages daily from letter sized to large heavy packages. All calculations show this mailed at First Class rate of the full 1.1 ounces and even as a large envelope (it wasn't, it was small) actually cost them .90 to mail to me. They charged me 4.99 to ship it. This is obvious shipping gouging for profit. I had ordered several items from amazon at once and so it didn't show till the last minute of checkout and I needed the winder so I paid. But take warning........if the company will charge unfair shipping costs to make a profit, what else will they side-swindle you on. Great fast shipping, but will not ever buy from them again. They are shooting themselves in the foot doing this.
