Best Christmas gift to grandchildren (12 & 10) in 2023!My grandchildren use this chin-up bar everyday. They are probably a little unorthodox in the way they use it but it has definitely helped them with their arm strength for other sports.A real hit!!

I made mistake and bought this bar based on the reviews. This is not sturdy and it keeps turning when doing pull ups. I made sure that it can hold my weight of 195lbs, so my 10 year old of 80lbs has no issue. After using it less than 3 weeks, the bar came off and she fell on her back. He skin around her spine got cut and also her left hand got swollen. I am returning this and hopefully someone from the manufacturer contacts me because this is not safe at all and my kid is now scared of going on the bars.

Have always wanted a home pull-up bar and was really specific about features. Wanted one that would be permanent without screwing into the frame. This one is very sturdy and fairly easy to install, and fits the doorframe perfectly. A friend helped and used a small level to ensure it was straight. I'm very satisfied and my pull-ups have improved.

Very much affordable and easy for starters. People looking for height improvement for their children going to gym this product is very usefull and affordable and fab to use at home. For adults also to correct their standing postures and body strains can try doing atleast a 10min workout on this. Great product in quality and price.

Wide pads give strong grip and spread tension on doorframe. The red rotation locks work as described. Gets 4 stars not 5 because of slightly pricy and the grip material feels weird, like soft plastic.All in all nice and steady bar

Got it for my kid's bedroom. Installs easy and doesn't require drilling screws into door frame.Also allows door to close without having to remove bar. Both are big bonuses in my book.Sturdy. Kid (~110lbs) loves it. Holds my weight too (~200lbs) but I can't do enough pull-ups to really test it. Did a couple and it didn't move, so I guess it's ok. Kid can and does as many as he want and it doesn't move, so I'd say it's definitely great for a kid.

Overall, this is a sturdy pull-up bar that is easy to install.The issue I came across is how much I had to tighten the bar in order for it to actual hold-up without randomly falling off. (Why I docked 1 star)My biggest problem compounded from the issue above, where I tightened the bar to a point that it would consistently hold my weight. This actually stretched out my door frame and led to the damage as seen in the photos. (Why I docked 2 stars)SUGGESTION: In fairness, I don't think there is anything that can be done (on a technical level with the product) about the issue I posted outside of proactively notifying the customer if there are certain types of Door Frames that are simply not a good fit for this type of bar to avoid the issue.P.S.: If anyone reading this knows how I will need to fix my doorframe going forward, let me know if there are any resource links.

holds up very well, did not ruin the doorway. perfect for rentals, since there is no screws needed to hang it
