Ok you guys, this little thing is my new best friend. My husband got tired of me talking about how much I loved it and how I kept it on me all the time as soon as it began to get a little dark while camping. Lol!Ok so this little guy's primary purpose is an airpump, right? Ok well in this category... Its just ok. Its not doing any miracles here. It pumps light air. And honestly for our camping air mattress it had a hard time once the air pressure built up enough to push BACK on the air pump. So air pumping is like 5 stars out of 10 (do stars go up to 10 these days? I dunno. Anyway.)But the LIGHT. Oh my lanta. The light is flippin' awesome. It is SO bright on this bad boy. It has 3 levels of brightness and was the only light we used (outside of the bonfire) while camping and it rocked. It was probably nearly as bright as my car's high beams. It has a little loop on the top so it can hang- and it's really light in weight (yet to actually weigh it).The other thing I found by accident when I was getting into the back of the jeep was it is magnetic too. I set it near the hitch and it stuck. This is great because we dont have lights built in under the hood of the jeep so if its dark and you have to pop the hood, someone is the flashlight you-know-what. Not with this lil guy. just toss her up under the open hood and she will stick and illuminate everything hands-free.Anyway, its a small thing, but made a huge difference for me. I like that its magnetic, small in size but incredibly powerful light-wise, and its just... ok for pumping air. lol. This has a permanent place in our camping box now!

This tiny little guy packs quite a punch! I love that it's handheld, no cord or outlet to worry about as I am trying to inflate a pool float the size of a Queen Mattress. Such a relief after the struggle with my current pump (you know the one everyone has where the cord is only a foot long and it's impossible to get a good angle?)It is loud, but no louder than the standard electric pump. More of a high pitched whining, like a jet was taking off in my living room (the cat LOVED it!)The flashlight is blinding BRIGHT! I founds this out the hard way. I didn't have a microscope in order to read the directions, so I had to figure this out by trial and error. Let me give you some helpful advice...HELPFUL HINTS:1) Insert the tip on the side you want to use; Deflate is on one side (ring side), Inflate on the other (flashlight side). See photos for further clarification.2) Push the button twice (quickly) to turn it on, otherwise you'll just blind yourself with the flashlight portion trying to turn it on.3) Because it's so small, its REALLY ESAY to accidentally cover the airflow vent when inflating so be careful there. It got really hot and angry before I realized what I was doing.4) When you go to take the attachment off, you're instinct is to pull. Which is exactly what I did, and I am not sure if I was struggling because I was weak or because I had lotion on my hands but I could NOT pull it off. Therefore, when you go to take it off, use a bending motion, do not just pull straight out. I get it off every time right away using that method.Overall, it functions well and is very handy, so it's a very useful and convenient tool to have handy. When comparing this to my standard electric pump, it performs nearly as good, just takes a bit longer. I especially love the deflate option. That's why I especially wanted this little guy and it does a GREAT JOB deflating. As for $30? I think it's a tad overpriced, if you ask me, but not too bad.As for the durability, I will be back to report anything remarkable!

It sounds like Satan's mosquito but other than that it's sleek and effective, with plenty of power for normal inflation and deflation tasks. I'm not a huge fan of it as a camping lantern because it has a particularly harsh light colour (hardly the kind of cosy effect you'd want to make your tent/meal/etc feel inviting). It also has only one power button which powers both lighting and air pump functions and the button tends to be squishy and not that easy to control (I have two, both with the same issue). So there's every chance that when you're trying to turn it on at night, you suddenly have to stifle a satanic mosquito attack. I also had to return one. I can't actually remember why; either it wouldn't hold a charge or the pump function wouldn't turn on.

Worked as expected. Just remember when filling up the attachment goes on the lightbulb side not the fan side. No instructions in the box so that was not intuitive. Once you use the right side it really works.

This Sportneer inflator pump is minuscule but still packs a punch. These sort of air pumps come in a variety of sizes ranging from something like a soda can on up to a stubby mason jar. So, I was very surprised to get a pump that is less than 2.5" high; I've bought lemons (fruit) at the grocery store that are larger than this! The pump does an adequate job of blowing air into inflatables, and I realize the tiny design involves some compromises. I wasn't expecting it to generate hurricane force winds, but I'm grateful that it's so light and compact, and super easy to pack for travel. In use, the pump definitely makes it's presence known with a loud, dentist drill-like whine. It's a bit disturbing, possibly even nightmare inducing, to hear that high pitched ZZZzzeeeee in the middle of a remote and dark forest ("What the hell is THAT?!!"). So, perhaps use it sparingly and with adequate apologies around other people. One bonus feature neatly incorporated into the pump body is an impressively bright camping lantern. You get 2-for-1 functionality, and if the battery truly illuminates as long as claimed in the manual on the low setting, that makes this a really terrific deal.

Easy to pack for travel. Inflates pool floats quickly. Beats the oral way hands down! This pump appears to be the same as others but less expensive. Probably never use the light or the magnet.Follow the instructions and this little work horse should last.

This is great for camping in my car where space is very limited. It works great as a pump and the light is a nice bonus.
