Rubber Washer is a bit thick. It takes some time to screw it down tight enough to do the dime test. Spring and washer works great.

The spring was the perfect size but the washer to use with it was too big and the spring slipped between and the post. I just used it without the washer. The rubber gasket with the screw was too thick. But I just used a razor blade to cut it down and it works fine.

I purchased this in hoping of reducing the amount of “shake”/movement the mixer has while mixing. The rubber gasket is TOO THICK a won’t allow the kitchen aid to to lock securely in place. Unusable

The parts fit perfectly and were easy to install. I found a “how to” video on YouTube. Well worth the effort

Everything worked great. The washer is a smidge tight so we cannot push the locking mechanism in the full forward position.

Did a long overdue maintenance on kitchenAid classic. Wife noticed a different right away. She said it's much quieter, no more hard bumping noise. She loves it, that's a 5 star for me.

Easy to install, gets the job done, fits well. Straightforward and way cheaper than “name brand” alternatives!

Well, the rubber everdime did not work. Installing it made it so my tilt head wouldn’t fully close making it utterly useless. The washer, as noted by others is not split, and so cannot be placed without knocking the pin out and then reinstalling it - all without damaging anything in the process. The spring on its own though seems to work. But yeah, I would just skip this one and just buy a spring or maybe go to the hardware store and buy a spring and split washer there.
