This works perfectly on my kitchen aide. There was a marked improvement in mixing which made it go faster too. It fit without issue. The rubber isn't at all flimsy and I expect it will hold up well over time. Cleaning did take a bit more attention to detail as there is a bit of an indent where the rubber meets and covers the better, but it wasn't difficult to clean at all.

I misread when ordering this product and it bought it was only the silicone without the actually paddle attachment. So when opening the box I was pleasantly surprised that it was a whole new attachment! After inspecting the cracks between the paddle and the silicone it doesn’t look like there are any gaps water and food can adhere in. I’m so pleased with this attachment and it will surely be a repeat attachment.

My old (antiquated, other brand) mixer had an offset rotating bowl so I could see what was going on, and scrape down while it was in motion. One of my biggest problems with my new KitchenAid mixer is that you have to stop the mixer often to scrape down the sides. This beater remedies that! It may leave a very small ring in the bottom of the bowl depending on what you’re mixing, but the sides get scraped down and mixed in perfectly. It makes a bit of thumping noise as it scrapes the sides. It’s silicon, so I’m hoping it will last- if it falls apart early, I’ll edit my review. I love this beater, and it really should be included when you purchase the KitchenAid stand mixer. If you don’t have it, buy it! I highly recommend this beater.

This kitchen aid adapter fit my mixer perfectly. I love that it works great so I can use my mixer for making more things. The quality seems good and I have not had any issues with it. Overall, it is easy to clean and easy to put on and take off.

It works! This is a perfectly functional Flex Edge Beater for KitchenAid mixer, the 4.5 and 5 qt model. The build quality is pretty good and for the price I would recommend it. I do feel the OEM version is of higher quality, but this will do for most people.

Perfect replacement for a years-old flex edge beater on an "Artisan" 5 Qt Kitchen Aide mixer (KSM 150). The prior flex edge beater was "single sided flex"... so this double sided flex model seems an upgrade with every bit as high a quality construction (and perhaps better). After years of use, washing and storage... the predecessor lost several chips of enamel in a few corners and seemed at risk of possibly doing so in a batch of batter... so it was nice to replace it. This one secures readily and securely to the mixer, fits the mixing bowl well, and scrapes its sides effectively.

I'm a baker and I use my KitchenAid stand mixer at least once a week. When I saw this blade I got so excited since it's a pain to stop every two minutes to scrape down the sides of the mixer. Well, it kinda works on the sides, but I have to say, especially in the beginning of mixing, this darn think sends a cloud of anything dry in the mixer into a cloud in the room far more than the regular beater does. At this point I'm not sure which is actually better.

This fit my Kitchen Aid mixer perfectly. My old batter beater, didn’t have the silicone edges. These edges make a great difference from the original. The silicone edges mix every bit of batter from the sides of the bowl, and the bottom.I’ve used this several times, and there was never a need to scrape down the sides of the bowl when mixing. Not only does this save a step, but it also saves a messy spatula from being on the counter, until I transfer the batter to a pan.When baking and cooking a lot, any steps saved from mixing, and cleaning is a win. This beater is very well made. There were no splits in the silicone, or any bits rubbed off. I would definitely recommend purchasing this beater.
