The short, dense and barred hair will allow you to tie smaller versions of strip type flies and leeches. One of the best materials to sub when your pattern calls for rabbit strips. These won't retain as much water making them far less heavy to cast during a day of fishing.

The strips where fantastic, I couldn’t find where the dimensions were in the description so they ended up being a bit more narrow that I wanted. I was hoping for about 3/16 wide but they’re a little less than 1/8. So to anyone buying these they are very narrow! Great quality though
