Melted easily, with little dross. It's amazing how an entire pound of this can fit in one pot. For me cutting it into a bunch of 2" lengths worked. Cuts easily with a hacksaw.

As others, I use this to tin wire leads. This bar is the perfect size to fit a typical solder pot.
