You'd need the strength of Atlas to get the paste out of the nozzle. Then the real fun begins, the paste balls up and doesn't stick a surface mount pad. I wanted something I could dab on pads and would hold the surface mount parts in place.... Nope. It's being sent back.

It seems to be melting at a low temperature. I would rather use low melt solder sticks but they seem difficult to get a hold of, but this works fine in its stead - however it is a bit messy.

I needed something that last several months. But when completely sealed, it tends to dry out and not melt evenly.

It was really easy to use for a first timer like me. I was able to repair a rear window defrost

Works well, does seem to be 230C solder, but I like a smaller diameter tip for 0603 work so order spare tips to find what you like best!

Works well for DIY applications and prototypes. Can't use it for production rework. The temperature is too low. The solder joint wouldn't be reliable.
