The item was marked well for what machine models it works on, mostly Echo brand String and Hedge Trimmers. SRM 225, etc. Once installed my sparkless Hedge Trimmer is now repaired and it fired right up. While I am a bit picky with aftermarket carburetors, coils seem to have no build quality issues.

I used this in an old HC-150 trimmer which would stop running when it got hot. I had ruled out other causes, e.g. fuel issues, and had heard that sometimes an intermittent ignition coil can cause problems like this. So I tried this replacement ignition coil and, voila, it solved my problem.Not much you can say about an ignition coil. But it physically matched the old unit, fit nicely, and it works!
