I travel a lot and don't like to use the provided towels because I have allergies to several detergents commonly used by laundry services.I got these towels to have some that I can pack and take with me. They are a bit thinner than i expected from the picture, but they are the size of a normal towel so no problem there. They do pack down quite nicely, and it is a fair price for a pack of 4.

I'm giving these a 3 out of five stars because the expected item was to be as described, overly large, plush, + nicely made item That left me believing it would be just a tad better than your average towel. The package comes super vacuum packed, so it was a little confusing at first as to how they could be known as a plush item. So I undid the vacuum aspect and put them in a free environment. They have not expanded or changed shape at all and remade extremely flat. When I went to pick it up, no wonder why it's a very thin waffle pattern fabric that is far from anything I'd consider a towel. Towel. There is zero absorbency going on here by way of any type of textures to wick any type of moisture. I do understand. It's maybe meant for yoga or other purposes as stated as well, but it doesn't exclude normal use as being something to consider by way of what we should expect. Expect. As far as the size and them being x large or oversized, I find them to be quite comparable in the way of size to most of my large towels that are no bigger than anyone else's I'm sure. So I'm just a little bit let down + had a little bit more expectations. Overall. I have not used them yet for any intended purpose of drying. So if my expectation is improved by way of performance, I will update this accordingly.

Honestly, pretty surprised by these towels.I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the beige color, but that is barely relevant. I use these towels for the gym and they work pretty well. They soak up so much water, but they take longer than average to dry. They’re rather thin as well so their ability to absorb water like that is pretty impressive.

These are nice and big, and they came out of the dryer looking like new. They dry well, like other microfiber towels I have. They have a nice finished edge as well.

They're soft. They absorb water easily. They are thinner than I expected and stick to my skin rather than glide over it like every other towel I have ever used. They're large enough and the hanger loop is advantageous in my bathroom, but I don't tend to use these unless I have to because they are uncomfortable. My girl does not have this problem.

I love new towels, and was excited to try these. My master bathroom has a minimalist decor, and these tan, gender-neutral towels fit the aesthetic perfectly. I wasn’t expecting them to be fluffy from the pictures and description, but it was a bit surprising to see that they were so thin. I tend to lean towards the plush hotel variety when it comes to towels, and these looked like they weren’t going to be something I’d like.I was wrong. The “honeycomb” material absorbs water amazingly well! They’re utilitarian, getting the job done quickly, which is great, as I can be a bit of a last-minute type. They feel great on my sensitive skin, and dry my hair much quicker than the fluffy towels I’m used to using. They pack up nicely as well, and have a little loop on the end for hanging - a low-key luxe detail that I love. I’ve also used them to dry my chihuahua after her bath, and they work great on her, too.The price point for four full-sized towels of this quality is spot-on, and I highly recommend them.

At first I was disappointed because I thought these would be fluffier, but the material isn’t like regular towels. I wasn’t sure I’d like them because I love a fluffy cotton towel, but then I used them and they are really absorbent! They are soft and work well after a shower. I might wind up getting used to these after all!

Escaping the Towel Twilight Zone: Terry Lint & Microfiber MockeryMy quest for a decent bath towel sometimes felt doomed. Option A: Traditional terrycloth, which, after a few washes, seemed determined to leave more lint on me than water off me. Seriously, sometimes I looked like I'd lost a fight with a sheep. Option B: Microfiber, the towel that promised absorbency but often just pushed water around my skin like it was politely suggesting the water relocate, rather than actually absorbing it.Enter these waffle-weave towels. Skeptical but hopeful, I gave them a try, and oh, the difference!First, the absorbency is real. These towels actually soak up water quickly and efficiently, leaving my skin feeling dry, not just damp and smeared. It's a revolutionary concept, apparently.Second, the lint. Or rather, the glorious lack of lint! No more picking little fuzzies off myself post-shower. Hallelujah! They wash well without disintegrating or coating the rest of the laundry in fluff. These also dry much faster than bulky terrycloth, meaning less chance of that dreaded damp towel smell. The unique texture feels great too – exfoliating but gentle. If you're tired of towels that shed like a husky in summer or possess the absorbency of a plastic bag, do yourself a favor and switch to waffle weave. These towels actually do the job they were hired for. Highly recommended!
