I e been seeing these all over TikTok and had to have one! I have multiple pets. Cats and dogs and this gadget really pulls out the hair from our carpet! I was shocked to see how much hair my vacuum didn’t get! Easy to use. Lightweight.

This stainless steel carpet rake is a game-changer for anyone with pets! It pulls up embedded cat and dog hair from carpets and rugs that my vacuum always misses. Or on those throw rugs where the vacuum can't be used. The 47" adjustable handle makes it easy to use without bending over, and it feels sturdy during use. I was shocked at how much hair it lifted with just a few strokes. It’s reusable, easy to clean, and works great on furniture and car mats too. If you're constantly battling pet hair, this tool is absolutely worth it!

With nine dogs and two cats, my living room is off limits to all the animals, and they're not allowed to spend time in there, although occasionally a couple of my guard dogs will run in to look out the window and bark aggressively if somebody arrives, but other than that this room is off limits. And the large living room area rug gets vacuumed literally every single day by my robot vacuum. So in theory, there should be little to no fur on this rug.Well, I just raked my living room area rug.. See the photo to see how much fur it picked up!Most of my house is either terracotta flooring or hardwood flooring, but I do have entryway rugs, and some area rugs like this large one in my living room.This is a miracle tool, in my opinion!And at the current $19 price tag, it's a bargain if you have one animal or more.I find the handle to be extremely sturdy and well-designed. The whole thing took less than a couple minutes to put together . And the metal rake head with two sides works for a wide variety of carpet types and textures. Highly recommended!

This works pretty well for getting long human hairs out of the carpets and area rugs. I'm actually quite surprised to discover how much hair has been living in my carpet. At least for longer hair, it takes several swipes across a given area to collect up all the hair but you dont have to press very hard when you use this (a probably shouldnt press too hard to protect your rugs and carpets). Prior to receiving this, my go-to for hair removal was a thick rubber squeegee. This tool works much more efficiently on rugs & carpets than the squeegee that I have been using.It's unclear (from the directions and product description) which side of the 'rake' should be used on what type of carpet/rug and I wish this was more clear. Both sides of the 'rake' appear to have the exact same 'teeth' with the only notable difference being their angle on the base.I have successfully used this on very short pile area rugs and standard pile carpet. There does seem to be a "right" direction to rake in for each type of surface and you'll know if you're raking in wrong direction if the head wants to 'skip' a bit on your first swipe. In the "right" direction, it will move easily and you shouldnt need much force.Assembly was easy and the tools seems to be sturdy enough. If you press too hard or use too much force while 'raking', the pole/stick will probably bend a bit. The good news is that you shouldnt need to use much force and I'd recommend using extra swipes over extra force to protect both your floors and this tool. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this gadget and look forward to de-shedding all the floors in my house!

Edit: The handle broke! I used this 3 times and now I am going to have to figure out a way to get a handle. The head is still good and is an amazing tool for cleaning cat hair from rugs and carpets. I have to take it down to 3 stars because it doesn't matter how great the rake works if the handle is broken.First, this works as advertised. It picks up the hair, and I was amazed how much! (embarrassed face, here) lol Anyway, with that being said, the quality of the handle is chintzy. In my mind, I see it not lasting very long, it is a hollow thin metal and, to me, does not seem very sturdy. Also, the handle is not nearly long enough. It hurts my back to use it and I am not that tall, 5'7". It's unfortunate, this could be an awesome tool. a longer, wood handle and it would be worth 5 stars. Honestly, 3.5 stars is my vote, but we can't give halfsies, so, because it does work as advertised, I will give it 4. But probably best for my short friends.
