I stumbled across the National Custom Craft website while looking for the strongest commercial/industrial duty handrailing brackets. After looking at the website, I wanted to know which bracket was stronger, the cast iron or stamped steel. I called the number on their website, and I was able to talk to one of the owners who's name was JD. Wow, the absolute nicest man I ever had the pleasure to meet and do business with. Him and his wife run this family business. He answers every question I asked. They also said that these were 8 ga steel, the thickest I could find. I was sold, I asked JD how do I go about ordering a set of 4, and he referred me to Amazon where they sell their products. I did purchase a set of these from Amazon.So, a few weeks later I finally got the handrail up using National Custom Craft brackets and locally purchased 1 1/4" schedule 40 pipe. Keep in mind, these steps are steep, I'm disabled, and I wanted a railing that will not ever break, and I got what I wanted! Hats off to National Custom Craft for being that old fashion business and taking pride in what you sell. 10 stars rating if I could.February 18th, 2025. Update, I'm purchasing another set of these 8 ga stamped brackets for another railing project.
