Works well but it's really light and feels cheap

Thin, lightweight stainless steel. Best for boiling water, but I don't recommend it for cooking anything with starch in it. Starchy foods (potatoes, noodles/pasta, rice, etc.) stick horribly. Not too happy with this pan, overall.

This is not a nonstick skillet. It is a stainless steel skillet and not a particularly good one. Pretty cheaply made. It has a nice lid, nice depth, and I like the twin handles approach vs the usual long skillet handle. But it is not nonstick. It is stainless steel, not much heaviness added to the bottom either. So... very ... run of the mill. Having no plastic does have one benefit that usual skillets don't... you can totally put it into the oven to bake or roast meat/casseroles/whatever. If you're looking for a metal alternative to glass pots in this style, it is a cheaper alternative to a cast iron dutch oven, but it really isn't going to be super good at conducting or holding heat at the thickness of the material.2 stars. Would not recommend...

Used it for first time. Love it. Thought the handles would get hot but they did not.

Perfect for Korean cooking! Love it, Has a nice thickened base for even heat distribution, good stainless steel, not aluminum. Looks pretty. Well made.

It’s a 2-3 quart pan and I received one that had clearly been left outside for birds to ‘use’ first! Not at all 3 ply’s of anythingIt’s a single ply of cheap stainless steel. Not 6 quarts only three.Everything about this IS different than the advertised description and photos used in it

I ordered the Goodscious Stainless Steel Pan with Lid because my husband wanted a stainless steel pan for cooking meats in the oven, so I thought we would give this one a try.I know there were several comments in the reviews about what a horrible pan this is. But it is evident these comments are directly related to confusion over what a stainless steel pan is supposed to be used for. Non-stick pans should not be used for high heat, as it breaks down the non-stick surface. Stainless steel is used for higher temperature cooking. So if you are making eggs, macaroni and cheese, or a grilled cheese sandwich, your regular non-stick pan will be just fine. But if you need to sear a steak or take something from stove top to oven, you will definitely need stainless steel.USES FOR STAINLESS STEEL POTS:- Braising meats: Great for braising meats, as they retain heat well and are oven-safe.- Boiling pasta or vegetables: They don't need non-stick and why expose yourself to non-stick if it is not needed.- Making soups and stews: The even heat distribution is perfect for simmering soups and stews over low heat.- Sauces: Great for simmering sauces, as they do not react with acidic ingredients like tomatoes.- Sautéing vegetables: The sloped sides of sauté pans make them perfect for cooking vegetables quickly and evenly.- Searing meats and fish: Excellent for searing meats and fish, as they can handle high temperatures without damage.SPECIFICATIONS:Brand: GoodsciousCapacity: 3 QuartsCompatibility: Gas, Electric, Ceramic, Induction CooktopsDesign:High Quality Stainless SteelPolished RimPremium Tri-Ply DurabilitySafe for Acidic foodsSeamless EdgeStain and Scratch ResistantThin and LightweightHandle:ErgonomicStay-Cool Stainless SteelNOTE - Handles do not stay cool, even on stove topHeat Distribution: Rapid and EvenLid: Tight-Fitting, VentedMaterial Type: Stainless Steel, AluminumMeasurements:Bottom to top of lid (does not include handle): 3.93 inchesPan - Side to side (does not include handles): 9.45 inchesPan - Handle to handle: 13.3 inchesNonstick: NoOven Safe: Up to 500°FRecommended Uses: Sautéing, Searing, Stir FryingSpecial Feature: Dishwasher Safe, Oven SafeAll of this said, having used expensive chef recommended stainless steel pans in the past, let me just say, the Goodscious Stainless Steel Pan with Lid is not one of those pans. This is one of those pans that you pick up in the center aisle at "that" grocery store. It is not that fancy, but it will hold up and do the job. The sides of this pan are thin and it looks like the "tri-ply" is only on the bottom. But the bottom is what will control the even heating and the quick heat distribution. Additionally, the handles DO get hot, even on the stove top, so be aware of this. But does the pan work? Absolutely. It does what it is built for, which is high heat cooking. Is it easy to clean? Stainless steel has always required some scrubbing, but boiling a bit of water and dish soap in it before washing helps a lot. As for the value for the money, it is a steal at this price point. For what it is and the price point, I give it four stars, taking away a star for the telling me the handles do not get hot.Oh - one extra point. The lid is vented. If I am going from stove top to oven, I do not want a vented lid and I don't want a vented lid if I am cooking meat. Not a huge deal for me, as I just use a different lid, but just be aware of that.
