I've been buying the sets of cooking dishes, and don't tend to buy singular pieces like this, but I'm so glad I got this! I made a veggie stir fry in it, and it was so simple and easy. It comes with two options for the lid handle, and I used the long one since I can stand it up when not in use! It is SO awesome. I used to have to set it on a counter or wait until my lid holder was clean, but this is always ready! I LOVE that part of it, and would love to see that in more pots and pans. It stands up well and takes up much less space than setting it horizontally. It doesn't get hot when cooking either. I had it on for most of the time to steam the frozen veggies, and didn't have to worry at all! The pan handle is also like that. There is a rubber piece that goes in between the handle and the metal to regulate the temperature. I wasn't sure about that at first since it just looked weird to me since I'm used to metal or hard type kitchen plastics, but it works SO much better! I'm really impressed. It does have good instructions to put it together and so only took about 5 minutes to read and do it. It washed up easily. I blasted all of it off with the sink sprayer while it was fresh. I think that it's very good quality all around. I'll consider buying a whole set like this when I need to replace mine!

The Taste Plus Nonstick Deep Frying Pan is an excellent addition to my cookware! It’s solid and heavy duty and the nonstick feature has been working like a charm. I’ve cooked everything from meats and eggs to boiling pasta, and all have cooked evenly and cleaned up super easy. There are features of this pan that I really love:- free from all the dangerous chemicals found in too many cookware pieces!- The lid! It has a silicone edge (removable and washable) that grips well. They include 2 different handles with it… the long one seemed a bit big at first, until I realized how well it allows the lid to stand alone! This is so convenient when needing to stir the food- doesn’t take up a bunch of counter space or leave a mess.- There are pour spouts on either side of the pan, making it convenient to drain and eliminate the need for a colander. There are grooves on the lid that line up with the spouts to make it easier.- Silicone band on the handle actually changes colors with heat, so you can tell at a glance how hot it’s getting- yet the handle does stay cool- Cleans up and hand washes so easily- even the water beads right off- Comes with a nice wooden spatula, which is a nice touchThis is a great pan for all kinds of cooking tasks, and is easily becoming a favorite. It does need some assembly when it arrives, but takes no time at all to do so. I feel like it’s worth the $40 asking price, but you can find this with a coupon like they currently have, it’s a great deal!

I really wanted a deep pan that wasn't really big and this fits that need perfectly!! The handle was a bit weird to put on but it's nice and stable and does not get hot. The lid is fantastic, it comes with two options - the leg looking handle or a normal looking knob handle. I chose the leg because I love that I can stand it up on end when I take it off of the pan instead of having to look around for somewhere to put it. I also like that the lid is glass but the outer edge is a silicone. I've used it on my induction burner and it works great. Cleans easily as well. My only complaint is that I hang all of my pans and there is no way to hang this because the handle is solid. So that has caused a bit of a challenge to work out, but I would still recommend this especially if you want a smaller pan with deep sides for frying. This is also not super heavy which makes it nice.

This pan says it is PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonate) free.It does not say it is PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) free.It comes with a spatula and lid- the lid has 2 options- a button top (typical) or a weird leg-thing. I love the leg thing- it allows you to sit the lid upright on its edge on the counter.I have been using it on my induction stovetop for a few weeks now, and it works great. It's a nice size for sautéing and making soups. If you make country style potatoes and are frying stuff, be warned, the sides are high enough that the stuff on the edges tends to steam instead of fry- because the sides are so high, so when in doubt, do a couple batches. The pour spouts on either edge are a super nice feature. It says you can deep fry in it, so that indicates it is ok for high heat. However, none of the literature says it is oven safe, which is too bad, because it would be great for making corn bread in. The handle's finish might not be high temperature safe.It is lighter than my ceramic pans or stainless steel of the same size. It is heavier than the composite pan I have that's made out of what looks like temperature safe plastic. It's about the same weight as my anodized aluminum pan of the same size.

I really like the functionality of this skillet. It's not perfect, but it's very very good. What really made this a 5 star experience for me was the customer service.
