This is a set of Quick Disconnects. The quality of these disconnects is right on par with other more expensive offering on the market. They are finished nicely with no burrs, no scratches, no dents or dings. The threads are smooth and easy to install and easy to use. These are made of stainless steel 304 metal which means they and sanitary food-grade material. They should never rust, corrode, or discolor. These do work nicely with other quick disconnect systems.I have nothing but good things to say about these Quick Disconnects.

I was looking for something to make an easy, fast, and sanitary connection for my wort chiller at home. This will work perfectly! It seems to be well made and is very sturdy. I tested it out on my sink and no leaks or problems can be seen so far. The easy connect barb is easy to attach to the base. I can tell this will save me a lot of headaches and help with cleanup during my next brew day.

This set of quick disconnects are very well-made stainless fittings, with the look and feel of fittings that you would find in an industrial setting. They lock positively, and do not leak. They seem over-built, but are easy to connect/disconnect. With easily accessible and replaceable o-rings, I expect this set to last a lifetime. Recommended.

One of the two had a metal shaving that needed to be reamed out/deburred, but it was trivial to get rid of and is probably to be expected with this sort of inexpensive machined item so I didn't knock off a star. Seems identical to other barbed QDs I have and mated fine with a male QD I tried them on.

These quick disconnects are far superior to my old ones. They thread on nicely and the quick connect is easy to slip on and off. I have a nearly identical connector from another vendor and the fitting is slightly larger than this one. The spring loaded part that goes onto the old ones would take a lot of force to latch and often I'd pinch a finger. Then they'd get stuck coming off and I'd really have to yank them with more force than I was comfortable with on my brew kettle's valve. These fittings work so much smoother, the connection easily goes on and off as it should without force. I replaced my other connectors with these on my brew kettle.The photo I attached shows this side by side with my old one. This product is on the left side of the picture and while the old one is on the right side. You can see this connections is slightly smaller and it works great. The other is too large so it jams on the quick connection.Overall really happy with these, they work as you'd expect for an easy on/off connection.
