I recently redid the stairs in my basement and this tread tool made the job a lot easier. I’m not a professional, just a DIYer trying to get things done right. Measuring stair angles was always the part I found tricky. With this, I just set it in place, adjust the arms, lock it, and it’s ready to trace. The markings are clear, and I like that the edges are smooth. I’ve already used it for other projects too.

This stair tread template tool is perfect for replacing stair flooring at home. It’s simple to use, it can quickly grab the measurement design, easily get accurate measurements, and the adjustable width from 8 inches to 72 inches covers almost all stair sizes. This is a great stair tread template tool. It played a key role in our entire stair tread replacement process.It is very well made. Although it is lightweight, it feels very sturdy and durable in the hand. The hard-wearing material has not scratched or damaged even after our frequent use.
