I've been using the same Scott release for 7 years, and it's second nature to me. The trigger on this Stan is much better, and while it took some getting used to the single jaw, I am really starting to prefer it over my older release. When I bought it from Amazon the price was significantly lower than any local shop or other online retailer.

2/06/2023 Update - Stans has discontinued this release. They offered to replace mine when I contacted them about the issue I'm having. However; they don't offer a release with the hook and trigger on the same side. I'm totally bummed.2/20/2023 Update - After using this release for a full season of hunting and putting it through the ringer, It has stopped resetting. I have to fiddle with it to get the hook to reset after a shot. I've contacted Stan's to see what I need to do. Will update later.I love this release. It works as well as promised. Only problem so far is the wrist strap. It stretches a lot over time. I have fairly large wrist and I'm now on the second to last notch. But, I can easily replace the wrist strap if it gets bad enough.
