Some wire colors were slightly different or had one wire that needed to splice to two. Overall though made for a very easy install!

OEM is made of some kind of acrylic or derlin which was all cracked and falling apart, pins coming out and arcing, bad news. This one is made of what looks like PP which will last forever. Swap pins from the old to new to avoid butt splicing the harness. The wire colors weren't the same on my 96.

FYI- for those who may not know save yourself some time and $ by not hacking the WHOLE factory harness. Usually only 2-3 wires burn on these so carefully remove the OEM pin from the OEM connector and install into this new unit, then you'll only be splicing 1,2 maybe 3 wires🤙

Worked great for my 95 F150.I didn't actually use the wires from it. My 25+ year old harness was burnt and cracked. I used a de-pinning tool to take all the new wires out of this and put all the old wires back into this new pigtail end. And it works wonderfully.

Good replacement, but an extremely tight fit on my f800. Broke both side clips putting it on, but I dont think it can ever work its way off.
