Installed in November 2024, throwing codes in April - buy own if you can find it,this is stupid. Sensors used to last years,now they last months ?

We had a leaking power steering switch that was setting Check Engine Codes. This was a perfect replacement and corrected the issue.

Somehow, power steering fluid was leaking out through the pressure sensor so I replaced it. Now there is no leakage and the power steering is working great. It is nice to be able to fix car problems. It is wonderful to get the right part at a discount price and find that it works perfectly.

Bought one in April 21, started leaking in Oct 21. I thought I might have gotten a bad one. I bought another one in Oct 21. It completely blew out 1 day after installing it. (Returned it) Power steering fluid was everywhere on the drivers side engine compartment, in the wheel well, all over the ground. These usually start leaking inside the electrical connection but I have never had one completely blow out like this one did. When I turned the wheel, even the slightest bit, it would spray out of the electrical connection like a water hose. I had to put the old one back in, that leaks, until I could order another one locally.My opinion, one goes bad, ok, I will try again. Maybe I just got one made on a Monday. Second one goes bad, stay away from it. Not worth buying over and over. Others may have had better luck but most of the problem reviews are the same problem. Not a quality part.

Received the pressure switch ahead of schedule and it fixed the problem with my truck and cleared my check engine light. Amazing savings. Made the repair my self for $25 oppossed to over $200 to have the dealer fix it.
