I was excited when I got this. It seemed to be pretty solid. I’ve only had it for a month or so and I placed a jacket on it and the arm just snapped off. I didn’t slam my jacket either. So I’m pretty disappointed to say the least for a mildly expensive item

Nice coat rack

This replaces a hollow metal coat rack. It claims to hold at least 130 lbs. Not that I will challenge that claim but I have more hope than with the metal one. It did not take long to assemble. Less than 30 minutes. The core seemed to be birch. The hooks are made of resin. Disappointing. A little more ‘fancy’ than I would want. I did add felt pads to the base. A nice wide base.

This is the best coat stand I have ever seen. It is very durable and sturdy and sits perfect on the floor. The best thing it does not sway when you hang coats, hats on it. It is perfect tnat I am so glad I spent a little extra to get such a nice item. Thank you.
