Had to unscrew the vacuum end and put the old on the hose so it would fit. This is false advertising that it would fit my shop vacuum.

The original hose broke. Great replacement. We attached the old hose, with duct tape to create a 10 foot hose.

Old hose was broken. This hose was the perfect fit for a Stanely 2.8 vac. Hose was shorter than I imagines but it fits securely.

It doesn't work. There is a lip like piece that sticks out from the part that fits into the vac but there is already a lip like part on the piece in the vac. Therefore the hose won't fit. There was no paperwork in the box to return it.

I bought this hose to replace the lost hose for my Stanley 2.8 HP shop vac. I would not have known, if I hadn't read the reviews before purchase, that the hose would fit if I cut off part of the end where it attaches (there is a kind of half-loop at the attachment point - I had to cut it off plus about an inch of the tubing at that point.) Once that was done, the hose fit my shop vac and worked just like the original. I deducted one star, because the need to cut off a bit of something before testing it could make it non-returnable - if it hadn't worked.
