Stanley a familiar name but not a familiar product. Stanley seems to be branching out and adding some new products under StanleyChem. I had no idea this product existed until I started seeing their products show up on Amazon. Guess it's a soft launch since none of the products are really available in the major box stores.While I was hopeful that this product would be produced in the US, it is actually produced in Romania by Akkim Europe Srl Str.Conului.I found no issues with the sealant. It applies easily with either a manual caulking gun or an electric caulking gun similar to the DeWalt 20V Max DCE560B.I like the fact that the tip comes separate from the caulking tube, this prevents a lot of issues that can occur when sealant tubes are shipped incorrectly or with limited packing materials.The sealant has a low odor and can be used indoors or outdoors. The label claims that this sealant does not contain solvents, silicone, or isocyanate.This sealant works on many different surfaces such as Metal, Coated Metals, Aluminum, Galvanized Steel, Wood , Concrete, Masonry, Drywall, PVC, Vinyl, Glass, Fiberglass, Plastic, Flashing and other similar building materials.This sealant is paintable.This sealant is ideal for joints. Packaging claims low modulus, which means that this sealant will remain floppy and will stretch a lot when pulled. This means this sealant can withstand a pretty decent amount of joint movement.The sealant claims UV protection. I cannot comment on this without looking at a sample of the sealant that has been exposed to the elements over time.The sealant dries to the ouch in 60 mins at around 73°F and fully cures in 1 day at around 73°F.Obviously if its warmer then it will dry a bit faster and if its colder its gonna take a lot longer.The sealant has a 12 month shelf life when stored at a reasonable temperature.I could not find any information from StanleyChem's website or other available media regarding an available warranty as of 03/2024. This is an area where the competition is more than willing to state and offer.Overall this joint sealant is a reasonable price when compared to similar products available from other big name companies.

It works and gets the job done

This highly elastic polymer sealant is made by Stanley, the company more commonly known for tools, accessories and other supplies. The product uses a combination of silicone and polyurethane to create a very elastic sealant that sticks very well. Although the tube is designed for a standard caulking gun, the container has an above average nozzle design along with a screw cap to keep the unused material fresh. It comes with the usual cut markings to assist when choosing your bead size and the entire nozzle is removable too which is a nice feature to have if you get a badly clogged nozzle. I also liked the use of black for the nozzle as it helps to identify the white sealant from the tip which although just a minor detail, can be very helpful for cleaner applications.As for the sealant, it is fairly thick and holds its shape well when applied to vertical or underside surfaces. I generally either use a caulking tool, spreader or my finger for smoothing depending on the situation. This stuff is bright white and dries to a very soft and elastic surface that is paintable. The adhesion appears to be excellent although like most applications, having clean and dry surfaces will yield the best results. Time will tell if it resists the degrading effects of UV but after several weeks of sun exposure, it appears unchanged and is as soft as day one. At the current price of $8.99, this is a little higher priced than some but so far this appears to be a very high quality product that deserves 5 stars.

Seems like a nice product from a trusted brand. Fits standard caulking gun. I like that the tube has removable nozzle so you can easily clean it between uses.
