This did not work on my chairs. So, would like to return it back

Used to add rigidity to a bench I built.

Used in the construction of slide-out kitchen spice rack, perhaps overkill in my selection of size, but I can state that the grandkids won't ever be able to destroy the spice rack. These are heavy duty and are 90 degrees, and won't budge.

Decent brace I installed on a old chair. Worked well as I hoped for additional support needed. I pre-drilled for the screws and had no issue like some people complained about.

Other reviewers complained about the cheap screws included with the brackets. Now you can count me as one of them. If you insist on using the included screws, as I did, be sure you drill pilot holes first, but make sure they are larger than recommended if it is a hardwood. I drilled the recommended size pilot hole and twisted two screws off before going to a larger size hole in my oak wood chairs. Better yet, go buy better quality screws, I didn't, before beginning your project. The brackets themselves are well made and do their job.

The braces themselves are nice, but the screws stink! Unless you are generous with the size of your pilot hole, they will snap off. If you don't pilot and are attaching these to hardwood, every one will probably snap off. Word.

Sturdy, well made and nice looking. The antique brass look went well with the nearly 100 year old chair that was my grandfather's.
