These universal stainless steel corner connector brackets are intended for furniture to add support to 90-degree corners. However, I found them exceptionally beneficial for a thin, lightweight wooden gate I was constructing. I had initially installed 3 inch 'L' or angle brackets, but these proved insufficient within about a week of the gate's use. I then discovered these brackets. While they are about half the size of the angle brackets, their unique design allows them to support significantly more weight before deforming or failing. Since installing these brackets on every corner of my gate, and also for the custom handle area I built, the gate has maintained its shape and shown no signs of misalignment or sagging. Given the large quantity included in the 12 pk, I used only six of them for my gate, leaving plenty for future projects, which is a great bonus.

Made from stainless-steel, these brackets are very strong and resilient. They include 5/8" screws that are the right size for any kind of wood construction, however I do not know the strength of the supplied screws. The brackets themselves are thicker than what you typically find at big box, building supply or hardware stores. That extra thickness makes them especially strong and the triangular design makes them rock-solid. That triangular design is used in cantilever bridge construction and gives these brackets extra strength compared to simple flat 90-degree brackets.They are MOSTLY formed at 90 degrees, meaning some are not EXACTLY at 90-degrees. You may want to check the angles if you are depending on these for now builds because that will make it easier to ensure proper right angles on anything you make.If adding these to strengthen previously assembled items that have loose joints from age or use, but still square, the brackets that are slightly off will work okay. After tightening up the original fasteners, you can add these brackets anywhere the joints need some additional support.The edges are clean, however the pre-drilled holes are not beveled, so the supplied flat head screws will stick up a little. A flat head screw in a properly beveled hole will be perfectly flush on the surface. Because these holes are not beveled, the tops of the screws will end up about 0.5mm above the flat bracket surfaces. The pictures and videos at the website clearly show that slight protrusion, which means they are not hiding that. If you need a perfectly flat surface you may want to bevel the holes with a drill press.Twelve brackets and 84 screws for $9 is a pretty decent price. too.

These brackets are sturdy and include plenty of screws. The only negative thing I noticed is the lack of countersinking in the bracket holes.

These brackets are nicely made and serve the purpose of corner reinforcement, wherever that is needed. The fit and finish is very good and it's handy that they come with the included screws for installation. Being stainless steel, there should be no degradation for these braces in the future in high moisture areas.

I have some bookshelves I made myself. I am happy with them, except that I used L-shaped corner connectors and there is some sagging of the shelves. These connectors are much better They provide more support and there is very little, if any sagging - maybe only with some heavy books which means that shelf needs more support and is not a corner bracket issue. The only thing that I wish was better is that the screws are not flush with the connector. They stick about 1 mm above.

This bracket is cleverly designed, with screws and brackets in the box. When making wooden furniture, you can precisely splice the three sides at 90 degrees, which is convenient for people who like to make furniture. The price is also very affordable. I only bought 6 at the building materials company, and the price was about the same. But this set has 12 pieces and is boxed. The material is the same and the quality is the same.

Other reviews mentioned that these are not countersunk (true - but they never claimed that, and most brackets aren't) and that they are out of square. The brackets I received are actually square.General purpose angle brackets are also not a precision alignment device. They are not designed to be bend-resistant and the hole pattern and size does not allow for precision locating. If you want a precision angle bracket, it will be precise, but will cost you fifty bucks for one.Another review mentioned that the screws are not stainless. The screws I received are indeed stainless; they are a 400 series magnetic stainless.

LOVE these little thingsfor those of you - like me - who invested (bit of a joke word selection) in assemble yourself furniture soon realize they're not designed to ever be moved AGAIN! Fortunately tho I've moved 3 times and each particle board piece of furniture has made the trip - mostly because of these and other reinforcement methodsThese make the process super easy - especially if you want to retain disassemble ability - unlike glue and wood blocks (which also work great for reinforcing - but take up some shelf/interior space unlike these which can nest into corners)
