As far as a water-resistant and shock-resistant hardcaseโฆ itโs a good one. My husband is a professional filmmaker and our garage is full of hardcase like these that hold his gear. This is not a Pelican case โ the high-quality industry standardโฆ but itโs also only half the cost of Pelican cases. Side by side, it feels like a slightly cheaper generic version made in China โ which it is. But the hinges are solid, the clasps are strong, the handle is well-attached, and the materials is thick and durable.
