I got this primarily for my car keys. 2 of my cars use key bobs with digital alarms and remote start. ONe way thieves steal cars is by either stealing or amplifying the signal from your keys. I put my keys in the smaller bad and tried them out to see if they work. They do. I walked right up to my most modern car and the car did not light up when I got close and did not unlock when I hit the unlock button on the door. Perfect. I'm also using one of the large bags on my laptop. It has remote wake access and will run with the lid closed meaning people can access data if they want. It's a little overkill, but when your life is accessible online, why not take another easy small step. These are well worth it!

These bags appear to work exactly as intended. Each one is lined with what looks like a fine steel mesh fabric. I tested one by dropping in my cell phone, and when my wife called it, she was sent straight to voicemail. My plan is to put a few handheld ham radios in the large one, a solar recharger and tablet library in the medium one, and keep the 2nd to smallest for a backup cell phone. (lots of stuff can be useful on a properly managed smart phone, even without network connectivity)I'm not saying an EMP threat is imminent, but it can't be ruled out with tensions rising in the world among nuclear powers. Stashing a few extra electronic devices into emp-proof containers won't be an inconvenience, and may prove extremely advantageous in the future.I can't guarantee these bags will work, since nobody has tested that specific use, but they should "in principle".

I requested the Ordlv Multi-sizes Faraday Bags(4 Pack) to use around the house to keep certain devices from tracking me and my vehicles' location. And, yes, cell phone technology IS allowing you to be tracked. Just as is your car...everywhere you go. The best thing with these Faraday bags is that I can defeat the crooks who drive through the neighborhoods, using 'sniffers' to gain access to vehicles by reproducing a FOB's algorithm. We also shield our controllers to the electric gate so that our vehicles stay exactly where we want them. Bottom line is that this product works as well as any I've used. But, they are only as good as how often you are willing to use them.

Tested by putting my phone in and having husband call me. He went straight to voicemail.

I am way past obvious concerns and am collecting Faraday bags for all kinds of things I want to protect. The smaller bags usually get USB drives put in them and the larger ones hold anything from a laptop PC (the large one in this set will easily hold a 17" PC) to small electronic items and parts to maintain small electronics. Other things I protect include radios, small TV screens, power supplies & chargers, solar generator parts. Think of all the small items we use every day that have an electronic component to them. Or those larger needs like a CPAP machine or other medical items like a simple electronic thermometer.Sometimes I feel like that guy on the corner with his "The End Is Near" sign. The sad truth is that it in this environment (it is early 2024 as of this review) there are many catastrophic calamities possible. I want to be the last man standing if we really do get into a war or any other reason someone unleashes an EMP.I always do the phone test and these bags passed. After I put things (usually backups of ones I have out because I use them all the time) in these bags, I put the lot into an additional Faraday enclosure like a modified metal trash can. New, of course.

First thing I did was to test them the way the instructions said to and sure enough could not make a phone call to the phone within the bag. Even before trying to make the phone call my watch disconnected from the phone as soon as it was in the bag. The largest bag could likely fit a laptop or multiple smaller electronics.

I definitely think that having the ability to protect your devices as well as your privacy is important in today's world. After doing the research I decided to buy my first set of bags to see how they would work. Upon receiving the first order I ran it through it's paces .. seeing if would hide my laptop, phone, or tablet and it was if each device disappeared. So I ordered another round .. one set will stay in my work backpack and the second will stay in my office. I definitely recommend having these.

Perfect for some events. Tested and it works. The water/fire resistance is a big plus, as is the variety of sizes. Unfortunately, the phone-sized unit came with the copper mesh sewn wrong, so it doesn't work. I'm able to use the larger bag, but it is annoying. Overall, pleased except for the one that didn't pass QC.
