This little steam cleaner is going to get a lot of use at my house. I'm on septic and you aren't supposed to use bleach and other harsh chemicals to clean when you have a septic system. This steam cleaner will be great for sanitizing surfaces without chemicals. Today is the first day I used it and I sanitized my kitchen sink and cleaned the grout around the sink that tends to get mildew. I have a large outdoor statue whose head came off and I have been needing to clean the surface of the break so I can liquid nail it back together. It cleaned up really good with the steam cleaner and it's brush. I then sanitized my shower and scrubbed mildew in the grout, and a lot of hard water deposits around my bathroom sink came off. The bathroom smells very fresh after steaming so many surfaces. The unit comes with plenty of attachments for various applications. Here is where a potentially 5 star item falls to 3 stars: The product comes with a paper saying it has a one year warranty based on the date of its manufacture, not date of purchase. Shipping will be the owners responsibility. There is a form to fill out when there is a problem that the manufacturer is responsible to repair, but there is no address of where to send it. No phone number. There is no name for the manufacturer on the paperwork, and the box it comes in. The steam cleaner has a small sticker that makes it look like the company name is TooCool, but there is NOTHING for you to get in contact with anyone if there is a problem. At the Amazon listing, it says the company name is Fochier, and they mention the one year warranty, but there is no contact information there. I would have zero confidence in buying such a pricey product from a company you can't get in touch with. I am a little concerned at how distorted my small brush became after about an hour of use (see photo). I'm hoping the company will make available replacement parts as they get worn out and I would love an extra brush that I can dedicate for toilet surfaces, but I have no idea how to contact the seller/manufacturer. This is a useful cleaner and I would give it five stars if the manufacturer wasn't hiding and replacement parts were available. it could be a sketchy purchase. Are you feeling lucky?

Took a little bit to figure out what all of the attachments did. Tried it on some grout, and my truck seats. Worked great on both.

These steamers are okay except for their attachments. They’re lose and do not stay on or seal correctly.

I’ve been needing to pick up a steamer for years, and I like this little handheld version. It is powerful, and it really helped to pick up some of the grease in my kitchen. I like the different abilities, and it’s fairly lightweight and easy to maneuver.

I am impressed at how well this did cleaning my carpet. My carpet has lots of stains so I tested it on one and it came out fairly quickly and easily. There are a lot of attachments for many different uses. I am sure this will get a good amount of use around my house.Make sure you only use distilled water and not tap water. The minerals in your tap water will eventually coat the element and cause it to not work so well.Using my wattmeter I determined this uses around 1700w on full power.

Hot steamer to clean your house. Great for disinfecting as well. Comes with different attachments. Really breaks down oils and stuck on dirt and debris.

I have wanted one of these for a long time, having heard how well steam cleaners worked to cut through the worst dirt and grease, and how they purified and deodorized as they cleaned. My first impression of this unit was confusion--so many pieces! And there weren't any instructions included in the box with the steamer and all those pieces! Thankfully I went back to the Amazon page for the item, where I found very clear instructions and demonstrations for how to use the steamer and how all the parts fit on it. So my first job today was to clean the greasy filter in the hood over my stove, and it did a decent job of cleaning that item, just by steaming and wiping with a clean cloth--the photo shows the filter with one half cleaned. The next trial was the faux grass mat from my dogs' indoor potty system--I normally spray the mat with cleaner and hose it thoroughly but there is always an odor leftover after cleaning, and the back of the mat was stained. I sprayed it front and back with some heavy steam and actually got the stains to go away! The green side looked clean and sparkly again after the steam treatment and, while it didn't disappear altogether, the oder was greatly reduced. So I give this steamer a B+ for my first attempts at using it--I'm sure I will find more things to use it on. It was easy to use once I found the instructions and it seemed to work pretty well. I filled the water tank half full for my tasks today and didn't use all of the water, so I think the tank capacity is plenty large. The electical cord was long enough, and the steam hose was pretty stiff and a little awkward to use this time, but it probably needs to be sturdy due to the high heat. The steam pressure was suitably adjustable and the on/off switch was easy to find and use. I did not see any instructions to use distilled water so I just used tap water this time, but I think the device will probably last longer if I buy and use distilled water--the mineral deposits from tap water can build up in the metal heating tank. I'm happy with this little steamer--I think it is enough for any of the jobs for which I'll use it. PS...I can't emphasize enough the need to keep this steamer AWAY FROM KIDS AND PETS when it has water in it and is plugged in, as a very light touch on the "on" button can produce steam, and steam can burn worse that hot metal!!
