I was surprised at how compact this banding tool is. It doesn't do great for palletizing purposes because of leverage with the smaller handle. For small/compact stuff, it works well.

This banding strap tensioner works great on stainless strapping. It does work on fiberglass strapping as well, but you have to be careful not to cut or over tension it. It's pretty easy to use and I had no issues with it slipping or losing bite. I like this style tensioner over the crank style tensioners that tend to slip sideways.

Heavy duty well made easy to use, we are milling down trees from Helene. This tool makes it so simple to band up the piles for storage. Highly recommended.

This tool has been a life saver. I use metal bands at work all the time and using the supplied tool aren't always enough to tighten then down enough, this basically solves that problem, amd it cut the excess after you are done. It's heavy duty and feels really solid. Well made. Worth the investment

This winter is one of our projects we cut down all the old rusting fence posts and it are going to be replacing them with new aluminum posts one of the problems we had was moving the overabundance of old posts no matter how we tied them no matter how we fasten them they always came loose and rolled all over the place uncontrollably at a friend's suggestion to use strapping I ordered a small roll of stainless strapping and crimps and this crimping tool after bundling well over a dozen posts together cutting the appropriate length strapping this tool tensioned cut and crimped the strapping to the point you can drop the bundle off of a mountain and it wouldn't come loose I can see I just would have a multiple of uses strapping things to pallets for storage during the winter it was also a considerable value for money considering all the other ones I looked at were an excess of $100 someone excess of $150 I would consider this a well-made well-constructed tool that I would recommend to anyone interested in its use. It was simple to operate self-intuitive and with a little care and maintenance will last forever or at least forever for me.

This is an awesome tool and it is sharp, so I am confident it will cut through the steel ties with no problem. I had no problem squeezing the handle or manipulating the tool into position for the desired result. It is weighted without being heavy and is comfortable to hold. This does not come with any steel ties, so until I get to the hardware store, or order some here on Amazon, I won't know actual performance. I saw the video and just kind of assumed at least a get-started amount was coming, but no. The tool itself is well made and I have high confidence in it, but will need to update later.
