Steel battery box with wire harness is designed to be connected in two ways, in parallel to provide 12v power supply and in series to provide 24v power supply. It is designed to be installed in two ways, one is directly fixed; the other is suspended. You can choose the right connection and installation method according to your actual situation

I purchased this battery box to store my two batteries being charged for my solar powered gate operator. The box came on schedule and the batteries fit the space provided perfectly. The wiring that came with the box made it very easy to make the connections to the my gate controller.I am very happy with the item.

I ordered this Steel Battery Box to hold two 12V 10AH LiPo4 Batteries in parallel for an indoor and outdoor light I use in my shed. I connected a small solar panel to keep the batteries charged using their own BMS, and use a switch for the inside light and a light sensitive (12v) switch on the outside light which runs all night. This box has plenty of room for a small electronics board, and can easily wire the batteries in series for 24v use in various other projects.

This box not only looks but functions much better than my make to built open overhang that I had to protect the batteries for my gate. It keeps the rain and pests out too. Easy to mount to wood post or back side of fence.

Well made steel enclosure, good powder coating.The ability to lock and also pre wired which is really nice.Would recommend.Holes to mount to wall are not pre drilled which can be seen as a plus or a minus.Would have been nice to see but I understand the reasoning.Just be aware when you do drill through this you will be also removing the protective coating to stop rust.It will need to be touched up so it wont have bare metal exposed.

This battery case is made from very strong steel. There are different mounting options so there are no pre-drilled holes to cause the batteries to be exposed to the elements if you were to choose a mounting configuration that didn't require holes to penetrate the weathertight case. I think this is a good design choice. Anybody mounting a battery box like this most likely has a drill and can drill the holes as needed.
