The item worked as needed and I had a separate threader/puller connected WHICH SAVED THE DAY as the tape is only 30m which is just under 98 1/2’ and my pull was exactly 100’. Had I not used the separate threader/puller I would have been 18” short. The description is deceiving and the product loses two stars for that reason.

I fished this through about 50 feet of a drop ceiling to pull some SUPER heavy electrical line and it did a fantastic job! The hook at the end is well-designed to pull back through tight spaces without getting caught, and if your line is too big to fit through the hook you can always tie/tape it.Very sturdy line, but you can reorient if it you need to. Re-coils into its holder nicely with a two-hand sliding-and-rotating motion, and you never risk slicing your hand because it's always encased in the plastic holder when it's moving past your hands!

This is lightweight,and has a handle to help reel it back in. 10/10 recommended. Would not recommend for an electrician using it every day,but for the once in a while use. It's great!

Overall looks reasonably well made, but fish tape mechanism repeatedly binds and is twisted internally right-out-of-the-box. Completely unusable past the first 20' of line (out of a 100' tape). Would not buy again.

A little bit disappointed in this product as I should have reviewed the pictures a bit better than rely on the description. I needed a fish tape to do some electrical work on my new construction. I wanted a fiberglass one with changeable tips and thought this one would fit the bill. It arrived and it’s a metal fish tape and I cannot change the tips. The description needs to be updated on the whole page. As for a metal fish tape it does retract so it does not hold its position when you have it strung out.
