This is the only tire buffing wheel I have ever purchased but I can say that it works very well when chucked up in a cordless drill. I'd say it is plenty coarse enough as my scuffed area was plenty rough. Whatever the case, I applied a few coats of rubber vulcanizing compound, applied my patch/plug and all has been good.

The buffer we ordered was quickly delivered have purchased these in the past one of the best buffers that we've have used so I'm good for a little while now until they wear down probably ready for another one in about 6 months thank you for the excellent product be back to get a new one that next time around thank you
